AIA Georgia

The American Institute of Architects, Georgia Association, represents close to 2,000 architect and associate members across the state.  The AIA serves as the voice of the architecture profession and the resource for our members in service to society.  We represent the profession at the State Legislature, and our vision is to drive positive change through the power of design.  

AIA Georgia is divided into seven local Chapters: Atlanta, Augusta, Golden Isles, Middle Georgia, Savannah, Southwest Georgia and West Georgia. The Chapters play a key role in providing regular meetings for our members, as well as a source for continuing education. The Chapters also are involved in a wide variety of activities including public outreach, local government relations and community service.

Sustainability Position Statement:  AIA Georgia is committed to providing the necessary leadership and resources to help inform and educate our membership so that they can fully embrace their role in creating a sustainable built environment and consequently empower the to inspire their clients and the entire construction industry.

Since its founding in 1992, AICC has been involved in completed transactions valued at $1 billion, creating jobs and benefiting the economies of both Israel and the Southeast. AICC targets a range of projects involving import, export, research & development, direct investment and joint ventures. Elemental Impact is a non-profit organization that provides consulting services in the area of sustainable business solutions, particularly in the foodservice sector.  We mobilize the foodservice industry, the largest private enterprise industry in the nation, as the project engine to create and implement sustainable practices in the corporate consumer market.  



Public Broadcasting Atlanta

Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA) encompasses the Atlanta affiliates of National Public Radio and PBS television via WABE FM 90.1 and PBA 30.  PBA’s third main platform is now its websites: PBA’s original site, www.pba.org, now streaming WABEclassical, WABEnews, and Ahora audio, as well as PBA30 video online; our Arts and Cultural Events site, www.atlantaplanit.com; and now www.lensonatlanta.org, our social computing site where PBA has a partnership with the Green Chamber.
