What are GCS Sections?

Sections are a forum to accelerate the growth and success of member businesses. 

Sections are for GCS Members, by GCS Members

What Sections Does GCS have?

Currently, Green Chamber of the South has 3 Sections.  More Sections will be added based on Member Interest.

Sections are:

• Green Business
• Clean Tech
• Real Estate

Who May Attend?

Section meetings are open to all GCS Members.  Members may attend as many section meetings as time permits.  Non-members may attend one Section meeting as guests.

What Does a Typical Section Meeting Look Like?

A Section meeting starts with a short presentation by the host company, followed by an update by the Section Secretary and other Chairs as appropriate.  Then Section members discuss matters at hand (events, projects, business development and more) and finally there is a closing presentation by one of the members.

What Else Do Sections Do?

At least one major event per year

Business Development – providing assistance to qualified companies through a structured process.

Work with other organizations and entities (southeast, national, international) on collaborative projects and programs that forward the interests of members.
